Who we are

PopArt is run by 914Digital. Questions about your data go to our contact page or hello@makepopart.com.

What we collect

• Your designs. The style, character, mood, colors and shape you pick, and the artwork made from them.
• Your quotes. While you design, your quote stays in your own browser. It reaches us only when you share a design, order a print, or ask us to feature it.
• Your email, if you add it to keep designing. We use it to sign you in with one-time links. No password is stored that you’d ever use.
• Order details when you buy: name, shipping address, email, phone and what you ordered. Card details go straight to our payment processor; we never see or store them.
• Contact messages you send us through the contact form.
• Basic technical data such as your IP address, used to stop abuse (for example, limits on free designs per connection per day).

Cookies and browser storage

• Guest cookie (ap_guest, up to one year): remembers which designs are yours without an account.
• Cart and checkout cookies from WooCommerce: keep your cart while you shop.
• Sign-in cookies from WordPress: keep you signed in if you have an account.
• Browser storage: your in-progress quote and lettering, so they’re still there when you come back. It never leaves your device unless you share or order.
• Analytics cookies from Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_…, up to two years): count visits and show us which pages and designs people use, so we can improve the site. They don’t identify you by name, and we don’t use them for advertising.

We don’t use advertising cookies. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on.

Who else handles your data

• OpenAI generates the artwork from the style prompt we write from your choices. Your quote is never sent to OpenAI. We also send the finished picture back to OpenAI to find the character’s face, so speech bubbles point the right way.
• Printful prints and ships your order. It receives your shipping details and the print file.
• Our payment processor handles card payments. Card details go to them directly.
• Google Analytics receives anonymous usage data (pages visited, device and browser type, rough location by city) to help us understand how the site is used. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Akismet may check contact form messages for spam.
• Titan Mail sends our sign-in links and order emails, and receives what you send to hello@makepopart.com.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Sharing and the gallery

A share link shows your print to anyone who has the link. Share pages are hidden from search engines. We only show designs in our public gallery that we’ve picked for it; we’ll always ask before featuring a customer’s design.

How long we keep it

Designs stay until you ask us to delete them. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Contact messages are kept until they’re resolved, then deleted after 12 months.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or close your account, through our contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, and we’ll honor them.

Children

PopArt isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top. Big changes we’ll point out on the site.
